Yes, its set to Salon and I have the icon of the little scissors from town view - good point though :)

And every town gets Resort Workers if Island Paradise is installed even if there are no Resorts cause EA programmed it that way

Oh well, in that case I have no idea since I never play the empty world. What hours does the stylist begin and end? Does it happen to tattoo role sim as well?
For resort worker, they fall in as service sims and will always be spawned even if you have no resort in your world.

Stylist's and Tattoo Artist's have the same work hours 9am to 7pm

sittingbear: oh yes that's their default work hours, just in case the OP has changed their hours in NPCRoleManager XML

So that's why my stylist is off playing instead of working, the salon only opens Tuesday - Saturday. I haven't changed any work hours for any role sim, so I'll just wait and see what happens on Tuesday.

Has anyone used any mod to change the work hours of role sims? I don't like the little coffee counter sim working to past midnight or some of the others working to the wee hours of the morning. I would love to know how to change these hours.
