When I used the Gardner Service mod Tagger showed them listed as being Maids and if I remember correctly it did show an increase in the Maid Pool equal to the number of sims being generated by the service i.e. I had 2 gardners and the Maid Pool size increased by that number

Might not be related but I noticed you have Buzzlers Aging Manager that one conflcits with SP due to them both having the option to use TS2 style aging

Does TS2 style aging mean inactives don't age except when you tell them to?

TS2 style aging means no one ages except the actively being played household. If you switch actives, then newly switched into household begins aging instead of the former one.

But in Sims 2 when an active ages up you get a popup to choose which neighbors you want to age up with them, so that's different. I mean, it's the normal Sims 2 behavior, not a mod.

I've never played TS2, so I didn't know that. But when players and mod developers say TS2 Style Aging, they don't include that option for the inactives. It means the currently active and only them age. Twallan, Pescado (AwesomeMod), Buzzler (his Aging Manager mod), and others always used the phrase to mean just this. It used to be an option within NRaas SP by that name years ago, but it was replaced with the caste system and being able to adjust aging off on the Not Active caste (and other such variations).

This may sound like an absurd objection, but I would hate to think what would happen to a TS3 game when 200+ inactives are specified to age up alongside our own, it's already late in the evening on the birthday, and the game might try to process all of those age-ups almost right away without stringing them out over a span of time. I suspect that more things need to "happen" when a TS3 inactive resident sim ages up than when a TS2 one does, which is probably why they always have to go off screen to do that in private.

That function goes on for miles so it's difficult to say exactly what is causing it. It very well could be related to the gardener service though. That one is trying to bend the core a bit much and it doesn't always come out well in the end. I wouldn't worry about any of them unless they become constant.

Thanks Chain. I didn't get a chance to check in another game yesterday but will do so today. As I mentioned earlier in all the years using the gardener service I've never seen, rather noticed, it was a maid that arrived and never had any issues with the mod. At least in the past they always showed up wearing the gardener career outfit not a formal dress :)
Thank you sittingbear. I did not realize I had Buzzlers Aging mod in. A little while back I took out Consort's Aging mod and put in Buzzlers to test something I've long forgotten about. Meant to put Consort's back in and use that one only.

Most likely you may have been pretty lucky that every time you reloaded the game that the sims generated by the Gardner Service mod and/or one douglas other mods if they do the same thing were off the world and in hibernation at the time
