No the homeless sim is in the Stylist Role Position not the Career
And I was only using those 2 careers as an example it could be any career a Scientist and a Doctor won't get far without a chessboard somewhere in town and I noticed a few towns don't have those accessible they have them in town but the way there positioned they can't be used

@sittingbear - I was under the impression that those kinds of moves only happen if we have SP's Options:Inspection > Home Inspection Career Objects option switched on (though it's True by default with Rigorous Home Inspections activated). Or is it that option extends the inspection results to include self-employed sims whereas the others in the more standard careers are already subject to it? Was never really sure of this one myself.

Sorry, I know this might not be what the OP is seeing, just wanted some clarification.

@johannshah - A stylist Role Sim may or may not be homeless, though most of us would expect them to be unless we arranged our Role Sims differently. A stylist Ambitions full career sim, such as the kind we might want to play ourselves, can also be either, though usually we would expect them to be residents.

It only applies to self-employed sims but doesn't always work as it's supposed from my experience
Home Inspection Career Objects
When enabled, the new home must have the objects necessary to perform a sim's self-employed career before they will move
Default: True
Hidden By: "Rigorous Home Inspection" = False

In order to stop the those kinds of moves you would need the Tones addon for the Careers mod but even then it's a little iffy, sometimes sims are just picky

@Igazor: of course I know well the Stylist career. Just think it's kind of worthless since the game will spawn a homeless whenever I place in a salon.

@sittingbear: do you mean careers addon for StoryProgression? I've already got that but again, in my game rich sims tend to love moving around multiple times, especially after they marry poor sims.

@johannshah I was referring to the Careers mod and it's Tones module addon here ht ... Careers
It's not the same thing as SP's Career addon module

It could also be that the home doesn't meet there needs usually before I start to play in a town I make sure all houses have at least 2 double beds and 4 single or 2 bunk beds, or has at least 1 double and 6 single or 3 bunk beds as well as the other essentials some houses lack one thing or another. User created custom worlds sometimes tend to be the worst offenders in terms of lacking the essentials

lmao I thought it was SP Careers addon. I don't have Careers mod since I don't find it necessary. Editing all pre made houses sounds exhausting. I set the limit of humans to just 70 and married couples are granted only one child so I don't need to waste much time on editing pre-made houses.

However, I'm quite done with simfest. I've just found another bug, that Steve Cupp kept standing nearby the box of mystery, like he was waiting for a participation for about two sim hours. I had to reset the stage before anything could go wrong.
