Recovered Inactive Missing Sim got added to Active Household in Uni!

Post by 95mmaa » June 15th, 2019, 9:19 pm

Hi everyone!

So, something weird just happened; so I'm playing a student at Sims Uni and he resides at the Frat, only thing is one of his inactive frat members, went missing and I believe Overwatch is the mod that has the ability to recover missing sims? Well, anyways, funny thing is that when he went missing and got recovered, he somehow got added to my active Student's household at uni, who's supposed to be there by himself! I actually saved thinking it might be just a glitch and it could fix itself upon reloading the save but apparently not, he's still there. It's no big deal as I can simply go to a previous save, or keep playing to see how it goes, but I just thought this was odd and interesting. :-o Your thoughts? :P

Recovered Inactive Missing Sim got added to Active Household in Uni!

There have been many reports by players with and without mods of sims who were supposed to be uncontrollable (not selectable) roommates in Uni World being added to the controllable active household. I've never seen it happen myself. Sometimes it happens in Uni World, sometimes players get a surprise when they return home and find one or more roommates have tagged along and "returned" home with them.

I wouldn't find it to be that worrisome and would just use MC > Add Sim (or Add Roommate) to put the newly acquired household member back into the status in which they belonged. Or I might keep them, there's nothing wrong with adopting a stray now and then. :)

LOL! xD

I guess mine was simply interested in moving to my town that he's coming home with my sim. I should be able to set him up in his own home later. And now that I recently switched to a TS2 aging-style thanks to SP, it shouldn't be a problem. Glad to know it's not such a major problem.
