Move Objects On/Buydebug Cheats

Post by MissCee » February 6th, 2016, 2:45 am

Situation: Since Dec 2015 my Testing Cheats prompt is missing and Ctrl+Shift+C doesn't do anything.

No solution after searching, updating drivers, etc. and chatting with several Forums on Microsoft, HP, EA help, Sims Forums, etc.

Alternately I played vanilla now and then, and at the time of glitch I was fully updated and mod-free prior to this glitch/malfunction.

Since the problem though, have again installed new framework and started modding. Using MasterController and other NRaas now for workarounds.

NRaas has enabled mailbox access, CAS, and quite a few other sandbox priviliges, enabling simming until I can afford to replace my laptop. Thank you NRaas :)

I still really miss Move-Objects-On features and buydebug though. I'd love to be able to build garden lots again, and better remodel/redecorate households.

Asking: Is there some NRaas mod I've yet to discover that can help/workaround those lost features?

Appreciate any suggestions, thanks much.
Blessings, MissCee

You could use Overwatch to activate the buydebug and moveobjects cheats: <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Overwatch+I ... Console</a> Commands. Check the console command section.

Hi there. I think I've seen your thread on the EA forums, or at least one just like it. Would be pretty certain that another program has hijacked your Ctrl+Shift+C key combo, but if I'm remembering the thread correctly you have pretty much ruled that possibility out. These third party applications can be pretty sneaky though. Are you certain that you haven't installed or updated anything since December that might have shortcut combos like that associated with it by default?

In the meantime...NRaas Overwatch has a setting that will allow you to have testingcheatsenabled true on all the time. I've been playing that way myself for ages. On City Hall or an in-game computer, NRaas > Overwatch > Settings > Testing Cheats Enabled > True. That's not the same or as good as being able to get the command console open, but it should open up all the shift-click type options that testingcheats brings.

Treeag has a mod that keeps BuyDebug on all the time, but I see that you posted over at MTS that it's not working for you. Very strange.

Ah Simmania, I forgot about OW's console commands. That could help a lot here.

Thanks guys, much appreciation.

Yes, I do have OW, as well as Master Controller, Debug Enabler, and a few other NRaas mods. They're all good, and I'm learning lots of new stuff. These have returned the shift click for the mailbox, build on this lot, transport etc. and through MasterController I can add family funds without typing in kaching; all of the mods have really helped.

Still struggling to find a way to workaround not having access to buydebug for landscaping lots and building gardens.

Example: the cemetary, the 2-3 were already harvested by some industrious sims and I can't I can't replace them, or build a community garden lot, I've found MTS mods for spawning, bugs, rocks, gems, fish; and mods that let me buy some things through the grocery for my sim to plant at home but that's it so far.

I'm still researching and trying things but I haven't been able to get move objects through OW; must have missed something.

Appreciate you both taking time to offer suggestions, thanks again.

Player reports that OW's Console Commands did do what they needed, thankfully. Locking this one up for now, but the OP is welcome to start a new thread if they need more assistance.
