Crash Log Analyzer (which you can get over here: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=416883) says, you're out of memory and that's the reason why your game crashed:
Details:
[WARNING CUSTOM CONTENT] 26-2-2016 11:24:12
OS Version: 6.2.9200
TS3 Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3W.exe
TS3 Version: 0.0.0.32
Installed RAM: 7,90 GiB
TS3 Free VM: 246 MiB / 4,00 GiB
Crash Type: ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0xdfd601a4
Crash Address: 0x005c6e07 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3W.exe":0x0001:0x001c5e07
The game can use up to 4GB of RAM and somehow almost all of it, but just 246mb free, are being used.
From the Sims 3 side this could mean:
A: Save Game Bloating

Playing with Memories on

File Save (Homeworld.NHD) bloated to proportional size larger then 200 / 300 MB (check your current savegame file)

A mod that causing the memory leak

B: System side

When playing the Sims 3 you're running another (heavy) program that consumes a lot of internal memory (7GB of RAM), which can't be freed up to the Sims 3.

Suggestion on B; Switch off memories in the game options, clean your Save Game file occasionally with Kuree Save Cleaner to shrink the size of your save game file to reasonable sizes under 200MB (do read the instructions carefully what it does).

Older saves aren't being loaded, but it won't hurt if you reduce your files within your Saves folder. Instead of deleting, you can move them out from your Sims 3\Saves folder to somewhere else on your system (not sure how attached you are on those).
The only save that should be important to you at the time of playing is the Save that you wish to play. This way if you like to play another save, just move them back from your repository (where ever this is) to your The Sims 3\Saves folder and play.
But if you had memories on, during gameplay, I believe you solved your own problem. Memories run on every Sims within your Town, so having it turned on it can practically bloat your SaveGame in just 2 weeks in gameplay, especially if your playing large worlds with over 200 residents.
VelocityGrass made a mod over at MTS, which you can configure on your own to reduce which memories are kept. Not sure if it can filter on Actives only.
