V83: Woohoo in bed issue

Post by erbkaiser » February 7th, 2012, 11:43 am

This new version caused a small issue with woohooing in bed. After Sim A enters and goes to relax, Sim B also lies down and relaxes but immediately gets up again. S/he then gets a new prompt to woohoo and only then does s/he remain in bed.
Happens to at least autonomous and user-directed woohoo and TFB in bed, not tested in other locations yet.

Odd, does it happen every time the interaction runs ?

I ran my testing couple quite extensively looking for bed interaction oddities, and did not notice any.

Guess I will have to watch them again tonight.

Thanks for the report. :)

Happened three times in my active family, I'll see about testing it elsewhere.
I just now let my Sims do a hot tub woohoo: the interaction for woohoo is dropped briefly here as well before it is requeued (in order I saw flash up woohoo -> cuddle (cancelled) -> woohoo), but at least neither Sim tries to leave the hot tub before getting back to it and it all animates seamlessly.

The work that has been done in the past couple of versions is pretty much exclusive to the bed interactions.

I cannot say for certain that the Hot tub was not affected, but no changes were made explicitly to those or any of the other object interactions. :)

Okay :)
Just now I had another auton. woohoo occur, this time the relax for Sim B was queued 'after' the woohoo interaction so they remained in bed for the entire activity. In the cases where it went wrong the relax interaction was queued before woohoo.

That sounds like the problem Sleepfreedom resolves. :)

I am having the same problem as everre. I have installed both Woohooer and SleepFreedom.

When my sims are ready to woohoo, one of them gets on the bed and lies down. At this point in time, the sims will react in different ways:

1. Sim B will approach the same side of the bed and stomp, and complain that s/he can't join.
2. Sim B will go to the other side of the bed and stomp, and complain that s/he can't join.
3. Sim A will get out of bed (after 1 or 2 has happened), and will attempt to initiate woohoo again.
4. Wash, rinse, repeat until the sims get distracted and wander to do something else, or they will go to a different bed in the house.

Sometimes going to a different bed will resolve the error. Sometimes it just replicates and repeats in the different bedroom.

Also, they often will not sleep in the same bed (having the same responses as listed above), especially after autonomous woohoo.
