Thanks namaradus, I have free realestate enabled and stranded couple amount set to something like 150,000. If I set the household option to allow move then they start moving all over town... which I don't want. I have a married caste but it was done so long ago that I can't remember what I put in there. What I really need to do is revamp all my castes and get them all organized. But, having said that, castes scare the life out of me, so I had help creating them. I would love to know who has castes and how they're set up. I would start another book of notes just for castes info.

I always let my sims move whenever they want and they almost always only move when they really need too, ie they need a bigger house or they can afford to have a bigger house to free up a cheaper smaller house for new couples

By the way the most expensive house I got is only 120,000 and I have about 4 of those the others are of various prices 16 in the $30,000 range and 17 in the $40,000-60,000 range the rest some where in between $70,000-$100,000 all of them pack with all the skill/career objects they will need which isn't much since I limit them to the rabbithole careers <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/StoryProgre ... +Skills</a>

I usually always add a computer, easel and chess table to homes I redo. I have the Tones module as well. I also make sure the homes have cribs, toys, potties, bunk beds and a double bed. So they're well equipped. I just have to sort out why my sims partner can't move in.

Inactives won't use the chess table on a home lot 99% the time as SP can only push them to use it on a community lot so I make sure I have several placed on community lots a guitar would be better for them to have on the home lot

It can also depend on the careers to LL if any are in say the Stylist or Architect (I think that whats it's called) they will need a Drafting Table with the companion stool it has which is why I only let them have the rabbithole careers and also disable the LTW for those careers

@LL: I have SP set up to tell me who is moving where. I get notices of : "not enough beds"; sims mad at the person they are living with, etc.
My married couples often move in together. Unfortunately, they move in to the worst house. for instance, one has a 2 bedroom, and they move into the other one's 1 bedroom. Later, they are looking for a bigger place.
I'm wondering if it has to do with which married name they get. I have set up the marriage name as "prompt". Perhaps, I should pay more attention to the housing and money, as to which last name I give them?
