Sims on a Mac

Thanks, Igazor, I really appreciate all of this info. It sounds like as long as the graphics aren't integrated, I should be okay. Did I understand that right? Once I actually buy it, I'll have to follow-up on the sgr thing that you mentioned. I'm currently bootcamped with Windows 7, but I figure the...

Sims on a Mac

I play Sims 3 on a bootcamped 2012 15" Macbook Pro that's barely grinding along. For the past couple of years I've considered replacing it, but then didn't because of the reported incompatibilities between most newer Macs' graphics cards and Sims 3. Is anyone playing on a 2017, 2018, or 2019 Macbook...

You used to call me on my cell phone (but now I can't select it)

Hi team, you've helped me with every other issue, so I hope you can help with this one, too. I had this one sim who used to be unselectable in the sim-mornings, but since doing a total annihilation on a dead sim in the world, she's worked fine... until her cell phone became unselectable over the wee...

I happen to dig Bonehilda,
I don't know if you intended this pun, but it's fabulous, and I applaud you.

Buying Vacation Homes in Custom Worlds

Hm. I'd thought it was an ownable lot, but when I checked, it was a private lot. No idea what that is. I changed it to ownable lot, so I guess they can own it now. Thanks!

Buying Vacation Homes in Custom Worlds

Apologies if this has been asked before. I did a search of the forum and couldn't find anything on it. My sims visited Simtorini! They love it so much, they want to buy a vacation home, but they can't. They need visa level 3, it seems. I tried using Traveler to stop treating their trip as a vacation...

Clicking one sim keeps throwing script errors about a different sim

Okay, I'm downloading Selector. Incidentally, the problem seems to end at 8am sim-time, and then it doesn't start again until she wakes up the following morning.

Clicking one sim keeps throwing script errors about a different sim

So... I used Total Annihilation, because, yes, this was the proprietor, and no, I don't really care about him. It worked in that trying to click on that sim when she's active no longer causes that weird error, but there's still no pie menu. The game seems to freeze for a moment, like it's thinking, ...

I tried the MC resetsim, and it didn't work. Here's the script error:

Huh. It looks like it didn't attach. Trying again.
