The refresh rate is at 60Hz.

Using the Radeon software, I have the fps set at 30. I also had the graphic settings on high, so I've downgraded them for the next time I launch the game -- with luck that will help keep things flowing.

Thanks, igazor -- my brain finally kicked in and I realized what I'd been missing. It's working now, just not any better than it did on the old computer with the original graphics card. Whaaaa!

Thanks brappl. Unfortunately neither of those addressed the issue of GPUs that aren't related to any already on the list.

I was able to get the card added to the GraphicsCard.sgr, I just can't figure out how to make it fit the format for the rules.

I'm trying to get my game set up on a new computer running an AMD Radeon R9 380 GPU, but I can't figure out which "or match("${cardName}", "*HD 7??0*") to copy and change -- or how it would be written for this card. Any ideas?

@namaradus -- I may build a PC someday, but for now my mission is to make this one my Sims 3 computer so I don't have to worry about what EA/Origin have done or may do in the future to control my use of the game. I dread the thought of ever having to re-download anything from Origin.

@namaradus -- Thanks for that link. More than likely that's the problem. Guess I'll be putting this card up on eBay soon since it's too late to ship it back to Amazon. I'll have to find a card that offers that dual UEFI deal.
