Does anyone know how to build a pond (waterhole) that my sims can swim in?
thanks for all your help. sittingbear - I have installed Great Bear and saved a copy of that park to my commercial lots. I think I can do a lot with that. Sara - that is exactly what I was thinking of. Even if I cannot translate the text, the pictures should be a help in trying to recreate what they...

Does anyone know how to build a pond (waterhole) that my sims can swim in?
That is the sort of thing I am after. I am not the most creative person in the world, and I was looking for a bit of inspiration or help to create some sort of merged pool. I would like one in Dry Gulch, as a swimming hole.
thanks

If you designed the sims, what would you do differently from EA?

I have been thinking about this, and I would like sims to be able to swim in any body of water, including ponds and lakes and water holes. And be able to cool down when doing so. I would also like to have more control over what non active sims are able to wear. I get really fed up with sims choosing...

why do my sims insist on practising the guitar outside even when it is snowing?
the subject says it all. They can practice much longer when inside, so why do they insist on going outside?
I really cannot figure out these sims.

Thanks for all your replies and help.
Good to know that removing the moodlet doesn't help.
I don't want to change the climate or make the sim immune to heat. That defeats the purpose of having a hot desert world.

Does swimming cool a sim down
Never experienced temps of -10. It rarely even gets to 0C where I live. I have downloaded and installed the blugenjutsu mod, but it doesn't seem to work for rivers. I am playing Dry Gulch atm, which has a river but no sea. If I just get rid of the getting warm moodlet, will that mean my sim won't ov...

Thanks littlelambsy, that sounds perfect.
I suppose you could be right igazor - maybe that explains why my sims swim in the middle of the night, in the middle of winter, in the middle of a snowstorm, when the temperature is -11C.
