I have been thinking about this, and I would like sims to be able to swim in any body of water, including ponds and lakes and water holes. And be able to cool down when doing so. the subject says it all. They can practice much longer when inside, so why do they insist on going outside?

Good to know that removing the moodlet doesn't help.
I don't want to change the climate or make the sim immune to heat. That defeats the purpose of having a hot desert world.

Never experienced temps of -10. It rarely even gets to 0C where I live. I have downloaded and installed the blugenjutsu mod, but it doesn't seem to work for rivers. I suppose you could be right igazor - maybe that explains why my sims swim in the middle of the night, in the middle of winter, in the middle of a snowstorm, when the temperature is -11C.
