Is there a setting in SP that would force inactive sims to purchase cars, if they don't have one for whatever reason...say, it was stolen or something? So that they may be stolen again? Nvm, silly me I broke it again by forgetting to remove the showtime objects. The posted solution in that thread fixed one save. But the second time I broke it the problem became permanent. Oh well, I have one working save.

Looks like this will need to be repeated each time I travel. Maybe if I set “Treat as vacation = false” in traveler that might fix it? Just a guess, will have to try it later tonight.

Looks like it's fixed. I needed to save and exit in between quitting and getting my job back.
