medoli900, do you have the Academics Module of the Careers mod installed? There's an XML file where you could add the Alchemist self employed career for yourself? Twallan included most of the self-employed careers in there, so they obviously work just fine.

Problem with NPC's
New York's quite big and I've heard, fairly laggy. I also believe the routing wasn't wonderful when it was first released but Daniel may have cleaned that up by now. I tested it in it's early stages and it quite laggy with just my sim-self in it.

Oh, I see the issue now. It's upset because it all romantic interaction proc tests are replaced by woohooer to get around EA but that one obviously isn't so it doesn't know what to do with it.
