Is the unisex accessories setting broken, or am I doing something wrong?
So I recently made a male Sim who I wanted to sometimes wear female CAS items via MasterController's unisex clothes settings. Hair and clothes work fine (with some very slight stretching, but that's not a big deal and I already knew it would happen) but whenever I use female accessories on him, they...

Can I disable the change to a special outfit for interactions?
I don't know of a way to prevent the special outfits from spawning, but I do know how to delete them if you need new ones generated. Clicking on the Sim and using DebugEnabler's "Fix Invisible Sims" resets ALL of the outfits including the Special category ones, allowing a new outfit to generate next...

How to properly give a Plumbot a human outfit?
Late response, but I think I figured something out. Applying the Time Traveler occult *kind of* works, but is too buggy to use in normal gameplay. They can't use romance interactions, traveling to other worlds breaks it, and... probably other issues I haven't discovered yet. And removing the occult ...

How to properly give a Plumbot a human outfit?
Same thing happens without changing the age. The rest of the body can be changed perfectly fine (regardless of the age) but when I change the hairstyle to replace the bot head, I get floating hair and an invisible face. If I had to guess that's because EA "hides" the face on Plumbot outfits so it do...

How to properly give a Plumbot a human outfit?
So I want to make an android Sim of sorts. There's guides on how to do this, but they all seem to be outdated since they use MC's Edit in CAS which now opens Plumbot CAS instead of the regular Sim one. So then I tried taking it into CAS with testingcheatsenabled instead. It opened human CAS this tim...

Download Sims Installation Failed
Honestly I'd just make a new user folder and manually reinstall everything, then copy my saves and mods to the new folder. You DO have backups of your sims3packs to use, right?

Bad jam!
IIRC DebugEnabler has an option to completely clear the inventory of a Sim. It might just give errors again, but still worth a shot.

Is Isla Paradiso fixable?
Reporting back to say Ciane's save file was a lifesaver. For some reason the lag was still there when I tried to do the fixes manually. Much less severe, but still there. I also didn't have to do anything to the uncharted islands. In fact, I'm not sure the fog does anything at all to the game's perf...

Weird World Adventures clothing glitch?
Bad CC is definitely to blame. I used to have a glitched shirt that had the body texture of the Sim wearing it. Like some kind of weird skin-shirt. Anyway, I recommend sorting through your CC before you start getting eldritch abominations walking about.

Best replacement CC for skin, eyes, hair etc.?
Can't help with the hair or eyes since I play with a minimal amount of CC, but for a good default replacement skin I recommend the Gumdrop skin by Simtzu. It's more detailed than the EA skin, but still "cartoony" enough that base-game clothes don't look weird with it.
