Invited foreign friend, got random townie
I'm happy to add her to the town. She has decent genes, and maintaining a travel friendship between neighborhoods is a pain.

Invited foreign friend, got random townie
This is the same custom town I was playing in with my last question about Traveler. Could this be another issue with a neighborhood that doesn't have a proper ID?
Relatedly, I don't suppose there's any way to move Maya into town using MC or something without going back to Isla Paradiso?

Invited foreign friend, got random townie
OK, so maybe there's just something weird about my game's relationship with traveler. My sim visited Isla Paradiso a while back and became good friends with the premade mermaid Maya Ocean. She rolled a wish to talk to Maya, so I had her call and invite Maya to visit. I got the notification that my v...

Edge smoothing
If the answer turns out to be "Smooth edges," I'm going to lose whatever I might be drinking at the time over my keyboard and monitor. ...It's smooth edges... Pthhhbt. I've never really found the edges to be rough. If it takes a lot of system resources, maybe I DON'T want to turn it on because I mi...

What effects do you see with edge smoothing? I've never turned it on.

Can't use MC->Invite Over for sims in mermaid household?
Oh, wait, I don't think there's anything wrong with my homeless/service population, at least the human one. I have a LOT of pets classified as service sims. I assume strays are classified as service? I guess that makes technical sense. I may need fewer strays.

Can't use MC->Invite Over for sims in mermaid household?
OK. I guess I'll have to move him into town.
Tangentially, I do appear to have way too many service sims. I'll take a wild guess that I ran Service Sims Out on the Town sometime in the past before realizing that was a bad idea. Do unused service sims have much effect on performance?

Broken tutorial links
I'm not sure I understand the issue. What executable code is in the tutorials? When I page through them on the Wayback, it just looks like a collection of text and links. It looks like there are a couple of links to external files. Code displayed in text is just text... isn't it? How could a malicio...

Proprietor or Paparazzi?
I've been getting this error repeatedly. It looks like this says that Thomas Moseley is a Paparazzi. He's actually the proprietor of a Showtime park venue. If the game is trying to also use him as a Paparazzi, that seems problematic. Also, what's the "Dead" bit? (Also, I can't seem to get the spoile...

Can't use MC->Invite Over for sims in mermaid household?
OK, I have determined that the mermaid household is categorized as a service sim. However, it appears that I can only "Invite Over" a small subset of service sims -- I presume the ones that are currently in the neighborhood. If I use MC->Status, I get the choice of, well, more service sims than I th...
