Transferring genetics

Post by kimlupai » January 17th, 2019, 2:48 pm

I've been playing the CC world Derielle and I populated it by portering in the population of Twinbrook. Bunny Curious recently aged up to teen and I used edit in CAS to tweak her facial features a bit. However I don't like the result and would like to give her back her original facial features. I wondered about grabbing a copy of Bunny from Twinbrook adding her into Derielle, using MC to transfer genetics and then TA-ing the copy. However I thought it would probably be a bad thing to have two copies of the same sim in a game. Does anyone know of a better/safer way to transform Bunny back to her unique self?

Thank you.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but could you not just save the original Bunny as a Saved Sim in CAS while using some other saved game, take the current Bunny in your current saved game into CAS, and "replace" her with the newly saved sim template that way?

I've heard of people doing that, but wasn't quite sure how it worked. Do I literally just take tweaked Bunny into CAS and then click on the saved Bunny in saved sims? Because if it's that simple, that sounds perfect. Thank you.

It should be that simple yes, provided both Bunnys are the same age.

Thank you igazor, as always you are the knight in shining armour saving damsels, given (very) bad makeovers, from their evil overlords. :)

It's much appreciated.
