Master controller isn't helping me with something

Hi! Ok so I didn't know where else to go about this. But I was doing just fine w/ other houses, decided to go control this one house that I had just went to the other day and everything was fine. Well, now it's not. All the Sims' and Pets' icons are missing from the actual live panel, the household funds are missing, I can't do anything. I tried evicting them and moving them to another house. Still doing it. I tried going to a different house and then back to them, still doing it. I tried using my Master control to reset them, nope. I tried resetting the lot, nope. Idk what else to do. I really don't want to move them to a new town, because the house in question is actually my oldest son's Sim's family with a wife and adult son and 2 dogs and a cat. So I really don't want to lose that. Again, it was just fine the other day when I was there when I had his daughter marry her boyfriend and then moved them out, then I saved it, and went over to another house. I'm coming back to marry their son off. Sooo what else can I do to get it to work then? I have Master Controller like I said, I have the Debug, I have Story Progression, and I have Overwatch. Along with other mods and CC. But those were all just fine. But the 4 NRaas mods I have are what I listed. Do I need another mod to help out or am I just not doing enough commands in the Master Controller or Debug menu or Overwatch. Though I wasn't really seeing much in the Overwatch that I could do. TIA/

Without NRaas ErrorTrap in play to hopefully produce some script logs at the time you unsuccessfully transitioned into the other household, it would be difficult to say what went wrong there. I would suggest reverting to a prior save before the household switch and trying again, with ET present. If the same thing happens but you get some script error logs that need interpreting, you could attach them to this thread and we could help figure this out. Or, sometimes when things like this happen once, they don't happen again on a replay attempt.

I forgot to add that I do have Error Trap as well. I knew I was forgetting another. Any script errors that might have been around the time this could have happened, are gone. Because I delete them w/ my other cache because the site I read which cache to delete said to also delete Script Errors. And recycle bin gets emptied right after too. But I did do some other trouble shooting that someone suggested from the Sims 3 threads and those didn't work unfortunetly. But I was playing w/ a different family today. Noticed the "grandson" didn't age up like I thought he did, he's still a teen. He should have aged a while ago now. So I had someone go over there, shift click to trigger aging. And these messages were coming up. Error aging or something, that KW was not responsible for the error or w/e, producing aging up outfits, producing aging up everyday, and so on for each outfit. And he aged up. So I tried switching over, thinking that was it, nope. Still no icons. So I went to edit town, moved just the granson out and 1 of the dogs and moved him into another house. His icon and the dog's are there. I haven't gotten a chance to check out his parents' icons yet because when I went to save, I got the Error Code 12. -_-   So I exited out and was going to try it again in a bit.

A couple of things to add thus far then. First, there is no need to delete script error logs. They will accumulate until there are about 10-12 of them, then rotate out automatically as new ones are generated so you should never have more than 11 or 12. Some players choose the save them (for a while) in a folder external to the TS3 game folder. The problem with deleting them as we do caches is that when something goes wrong, there's no logs to look back on and examine. The presence of a dozen or so script error logs in the game folder adds no overhead to the game.

Crash logs, the ones with xcpt in their names and the accompanying memory dump files, are typically useless and will stay in the game folder forever. If you are getting those, they can be deleted.

It remains that we cannot assist with the reading and interpreting of script error logs if they are not available for us to read.

More to that matter at hand though, don't know if your mention of this was intentional or not but "KW"? To us, that means a very adult oriented mod whose developer is OnikiKay. I'm afraid that if her mod is in play or ever has been on an ongoing game, then that changes things considerably. The mod is not compatible with many NRaas mods and ongoing games that have had it in play are not supportable here. Generally speaking, her mod is not conducive to long-running ongoing games and it and many (not all) NRaas mods remain essentially opposing forces when used in the same game.

Yeah I had no clue what it meant when it gave me those messages in the top corner. But w/e the case, I went back in, and after I did what I needed w/ the grandson's new house, I saved sucessfully and went over to his parent's house (the bad house), and their icons and the last remaining dog is showing. Everything is back to normal. t have been a corruption of some sort w/ the grandson and after forcing him to age it corrected everything. *shurgs* I'm not going to question it, I'm just going to go with it. lol

I'm going to take that to mean that the KW mod is indeed in play.

If you should encounter NRaas mod related issues on an ongoing game that is not using nor has it used the KW mod, then you are of course welcome to begin a new thread. As we are not able to assist with this one, this thread is now locked.
