I knew how to do this before, and searching has turned up nothing. literally saying nothing is found related to the Social interactions added to Sims 3 by University.  I had a setting for Master Controller (I think) that basically set the accruing of social influence so low it basically was not occuring.  Does anyone remember what that was?  I'd rather not have a neighborhood full of Nerds (its ALWAYS nerds) this go round.
