Integration Crashing Game

Post by DigiriblePlum » July 20th, 2018, 9:57 am

If I have Integration installed, it crashes my game every time. I tried uninstalling all mods and replacing them one by one, and it's definitely Integration. Are there any other mods this one is known to conflict with, or anything like that? Game's up to date and otherwise problem-free.

Hi there. Crashing on startup or further into the game? That's not a typical result either way, but there are a few things worth checking.

-- Are you working with the most recent versions of both the MC base mod and MC Integration? That would be v134 of each. Mismatched versions can cause all kinds of issues.

-- Are you clearing the five top level cache files after adding/removing things from Mods\Packages?

-- Crashes on startup will definitely happen if you ever have the MC Progression module in place but do not have the StoryProgression base mod. Could this possibly be happening along the way during your testing?

-- Have you tried the Clean Folder Test? Rather than removing all other mods, pull the entire TS3 user game folder out of Documents to the Desktop for safekeeping. You can put it back later if needed. The game will spawn a new, no content game folder. Back out, set up the Framework again, put in only the MC Base mod and MC Integration, and try starting up a new test game with no other content added. Does that work? It could be your content triggering the issue rather than the mod.

And if those ideas are no help, would have to ask which patch level is your game on, what kind of install is this and from where did you obtain the game -- retail store disc, Origin digital, Steam, someplace else (where)? Is all of your TS3 Store content actually from the Store or elsewhere? Any other third party hacks or game "helpers" in place?
