@Deldhinor; As explained by our coder (Chain), its hard coded the PWG menu will freeze on Teen whether you can successfully transfer the genetics or not. See it as some sort of check in the game core that's refusing to stop and close the PWG menu. Hardcoded means its pretty much difficult to change stuff with just Scripting Mods.

Just don't run the PWG menu on anything that's younger than YA's and see if igazor's method can work for you as a work around. With MC>Advanced> Family you can alter the relationship settings if required (Cheats Module required).

I'm sure that the stuck PWG box is not an intended part of its programming. Seems to me a better way to avoid it might be to disallow MC from selecting teens and younger as genetic donors, if that is possible, so we never see the stuck box in the first place.

While we are waiting for an answer to that, I would point out that when selecting sims to be genetic donors the MC filtered choices display the age (in sim days) of each possible selection. If you sort by that column before selecting sims, the teens and younger should stick together so it would be easier to avoid them as selections. Or, instead of using "X," filter the selections by Age to YA and above so as not to accidentally select a teen.

I have added this now confirmed discovery to the PWG entry on the MC Interactions page.

Thanks guys! I understood now! I just thought that Chain recommened igazors solution about how to create the sim and not about PWG freeze.

@igazor I tested the filter sort to avoid underage sims but ...
I use o mod that stops sims for aging. In the world there are 4 vampire teens that I made them teens for ever, because they have different powers from a YA vampire. The filter says that the age of one of them is 7840 (this number has nothing to do with sims age because I don't play for that long sim days). Is any way for a filter to understand the age by a sims category and not by the number of sim days that it leaves?

I understand, the mod doesn't stop aging up by days it stops them from becoming a YA. But when you select the genetic donors for PWG, what happens if instead of hitting "X" to dismiss the filter and get all sims in town instead you use MC's built in Age filter and then select YA, A, (and Elder if wanted)? Your teen sim may be some fictional age in sim days but their life stage is still teen and they should be filtered out. Does that not work?

While this is a little off topic but to clear up a little confusion on vampires.
Vampires don't gain any abilities until they become a YA the only thing teen vampires have they can tolerate the sun a little better and can only turn YA's and older into vampires and a faster learning rate other than that they got no abilities.

They can also drain other sims energy (this might be from a mod) from others and make them loose their sences. When they do that, they get the blody face as YAs do. This is the difference I'm talking about, which I like.

That must be coming from a mod you have I play vampires, fairies, witches, werewolves and genies all the time. But they still need blood to survive which they can "drink" from other sims
