Help with master controller error

Post by RangerLexi » September 18th, 2017, 5:01 pm

Ok, so I went a bit nuts and used master controller to auto adopt all the wild horses. However, now I cannot saddle them or anything. Help???

LOL...sorry, I mean hi there and welcome to NRaas. That's an interesting idea, but adopting a horse (from the adoption pool) and getting a stray/wild animal to join your household are two different things. I'm pretty sure that from MC, it would be Add Sim that forces a stray to join your household, not Adopt. Not so?

Either way, the adoption pools or the pool of strays would just replenish themselves with more horses once they are depleted unless you have those pools under control by way of Register or some other means. So, the question becomes, are you sure the horses you are trying to saddle are really yours?

In any event, faced with whatever the malfunction is, I would consider reverting to save from before this all happened and try things again another way if you have such a save available. Although those more experienced with the equines among us here may have other suggestions. :)

Yeah I know dumb mistake 😂 however I meant the wild ones, they show up and are playable and rideable the only action that appears to be locked is saddling. I have no earlier saves.yes, it was add sim I used... How can I remove it from the household so as to re-adopt it the standard way?

Maybe your relationship is too low perhaps and adoption has nothing to do with it?

I FIXED IT
I'd already tried relationship xP that was my first thought. Went to edit town, split up the household - moved the glitched ponies to a separate household - then added them back to the original. Easy.
