Post-uninstall issue

Post by silveryrow » February 18th, 2017, 9:32 am

This may or may not be a Dresser issue. I gave the mod a try but disliked it so I uninstalled it. Since then, no one changes clothes when going outside or coming back in - I had a Sim scattering hay in her dressing gown, and no one puts on their outerwear autonomously, nor do they change out of it when entering a building.
Any ideas appreciated.

The changing in and out of Outerwear is governed by the temperature outside, so any link to the removal of Members' Retuner Settings#Outerwear for details. :-)

Thank you, Sarah. Any idea about why they don't change back once they're indoors? Or don't change out of nightwear before leaving the house?

Use MC to reset the Town and see if it clears out any residual data that might have been left behind

@silveryrow: Sorry, no I don't. Try what sittingbear suggests. I'm not sure it will help but it can't hurt. Hopefully, someone else may have another suggestion. :-)

Those are Dresser features which would be why they don't work with the mod removed. :)

I think the OP means that their game's sims generally are going to the grocery store in their pajamas and hanging around inside their homes in their parkas, gloves, and snow boots. That's not expected behavior without Dresser...or maybe I misunderstood.

I don't see mention of off the lot. Under EA they will stay in their current outfits no matter what. They switch to outerwear but that missing could be temp related as Sarah noted.

Sorry, guess I was reading too much into the scattering hay thing. But my sims often although not always spin into Everyday when they leave their bedrooms, even if it's to take a shower (which is a silly waste of clean clothes usually) and I do not have Dresser. I wonder why they do this then, except to annoy me. Maybe it depends on the time of day, but I've never really noticed a pattern.

@igazor: There's the Change Clothing On Room Exit option in Woohooer.
Whether to switch back into regular outfits upon exiting the bedroom, after a Naked Woohoo session
Default: True

Might be what's doing that in your game but I'm now thinking......isn't there another similar option in one of the other NRaas mods? As usual, I can't remember which one. Any ideas? :-)
