Littlelambsy - It's obvious how much this game means to you due to the frequency of your posts, and I'm so sorry you're having all these problems. I can help you, but because of the rules here (rules I agree with wholeheartedly), I can't discuss the solution on this forum. I tried to send you a private message, but the option did not show up on your profile page. You can send me a message if you would like my help. **I'm only offering this help to Littlelambsy because I'm confident she rightfully owns the content in question.

Another alternative.
Okay. So your prior, I mean original, TS 3game folder and/or DCCache Folder are doing you no good in this regard, huh.
Littlelambsy, can you remind me, do you have an original, pre-2012 base game disc and it's just some packs that are Origin digital? If so, how about a total uninstall, dump the game folder (keeping a copy of the original on your Desktop of course), clean Registry with CCleaner so no traces of TS3 left. Then do a disc install of the base game only, no EPs or SPs. Do not accept the EA Download Manager or Origin offers, and Super Patch it to 1.67. On this clean, fresh base game only install on Patch 1.67 with no Origin involvement whatsoever, can you download some store content, just a couple of things, and install it?
Of course, if you don't have a pre-2012 base game disc then disregard the above (for now) as you don't have any way to stay on 1.67.

@SSG... I will pm you about this later. I'm sort of tied up for the next hour or so. You should be able to send me a message if you click on my avatar.
@igazor.... I don't have any sims 3 discs, my game was all digital downloads from origin. I wish I did have discs. I do have the original entire sims 3 folder from before I uninstalled my games, the sims 3 folder from my original patch 1.67 game. When I installed the sims 3 from origin downloads I started the game and replaced the created sims 3 folder with my original one. However, it doesn't work. All my cc is there, all my saves are there and all is working. The only things that I can see at the moment that don't work are my store content. I can't get it to show up in game, even though it downloads into the launcher and installs "successfully" and shows as installed. Then when it doesn't show up in game, I go back to downloading the content again, it downloads into the launcher as before, but shows as NOT installed. I don't get it. Btw, my games were purchased through origin before 2012 and I always had the quick start link, by passing the launcher.... which I don't have now.

Right, you cannot do an Origin controlled install on 1.67 anymore, it's only the pre-existing installs that can stay on that patch. They took that way from us in Jan 2016.
I do not understand (nor can EA apparently) why you can't install a single piece of store content now if I've got that correct. It's not just premium store content like basketball hoops and bakery ovens, but nothing at all not even a piece of plain old store furniture? I would probably then next try removing the game folder again, uninstalling everything, the entire game and all packs as said above, do a registry clean again removing all traces of TS3, and do an Origin install of the base game only therefore on Patch 1.69 since that's the only choice. And then try to install by way of a fresh download, not an existing sims3pack, on the fresh clean game folder that will spawn on the first attempted launch with no custom content and no package based files or mods, one or two pieces of store content (not premium, nothing fancy). Just to see if we can get things started.
@SSG - you can PM anyone here, if they allow PMs, by opening up your mailbox, clicking on Compose, and just typing their screen name into the "To:" box.

@igazor - thanks for letting me know how to send the PMs. I think littlelambsy has a problem with her Windows registry from reinstalling the base game. Anyway, you know what my solution is for her. I only did this with my own content for 2 reasons - to make XML tuning files, and to back up my purchased content in case the store ever closes. Just wanted you to know that my intentions are pure

Yeah, yeah I know what you are doing, and know that you know what you are doing (or something like that, I'm too tired tonight to be making any sense). But appreciate that you're taking it all to PMs anyway. It's just that we're not generally going to be able to support the results here -- not that we've been doing all that spiffy a job without it, apparently.

I will follow your directions igazor and uninstall the games, then re install according to your instructions. But, before I do anything drastic, I would like to know if this message has anything to do with my problem. When I remove my NRaas Mods folder, I don't get this message.
