Repeated GoHere Error

Post by Orilon » December 26th, 2015, 7:10 pm

I got 159 notifications (no that is not a typp) from GoHere about Maeve Eames while my active was on vacation in France. I uploaded one of the Scripterrors for someone to look over. Maeve Eames is a Dragon Valley inactive that starts off pregnant, and she was still pregnant when my active went to France and she is there as a tourist (I thought one of the mods was supposed to stop pregnant inactive tourists, unless I'm remembering wrong.)

Wow, I've never seen a pregnant tourist/explorer before. Glad you mentioned this or I would have been totally mystified (as opposed to partially), even though it's right in the error log.

Maeve is erroring out because she cannot spin into a new outfit before being routed someplace. My guess is that tourists do not bring maternity clothes with them when they travel and the regular outfits are not going to cut it after a certain point in their pregnancy.

What I would probably do while waiting for a more definitive response from a coder as to how this happened is MC reset her, then switch off tourism entirely so that hopefully she gets sent back home without having to instantiate (materialize) again.
NRaas > Register > Tourists Tourists:Maximum > 0
NRaas > Register > Tourists > Chance of Leaving > 100

Then, after confirming that all current tourists are gone, I would disable Dragon Valley as a world supplying to tourists to France so she doesn't get selected as a new explorer again.
NRaas > Register > Disabled Tourist Worlds > DV

And switch tourism back on if you want them.

Or I suppose you could try to terminate her pregnancy, but that seems harsh.

I have no idea why but the game was attempting to switch her into her career outfit. But it obviously wasn't imported with her. It doesn't appear pregnant Sims are blocked from being tourists which is interesting. It's odd no one has encountered an issue with that prior.

I see you have Traveler installed. Did you previously change any of the "Allowable Travelers" settings?

I didn't change of the allowable travelers settings. I tend to leave that on the default settings so whatever is the default for the current Traveler mod is what I have. I remember having an issues with pregnant tourists before when Twallan was still active. It doesn't happen often but its a pain when it does. (I never change any of Traveler's settings, so its always been what ever is in the default settings.)

I believe that Traveler doesn't regulate tourists, Register does. We saw a rare but somewhat similar issue when a player here had a baby show up as a tourist in their homeworld and then couldn't interact with it. That was a while ago and I think that issue has since been locked down.

Yes it is Register that handles them. I suppose the randomizer just doesn't land on very many pregnant Sims. Will have to look into disallowing them.
