Hello! I've come over from The Sims Forums as requested.

So recently I noticed that one of my sims was receiving date phone calls from an imaginary friend I annihilated about a week ago - all the dolls were also removed through MC too. My Saver save file cycle no longer includes a save with the imaginary friend not annihilated so going back isn't an option.

Upon accepting this request it catches an error and the target Sim is reset. It is possible to avoid this by not accepting the call or turning them off entirely but it's concerning that the Imaginary friend still exists somehow.

I'll link the original topic on the Sims forums here as screenshots aren't allowed but you can see that he doesn't show up when trying to filter him through service sims, male sims or the entire population of the save file.

From the error file I can see that the game knows he doesn't exist but why is he still showing up like this?

Hi there, and thanks for bringing the issue and the script errors over here. I can't decompress the uploaded rar file on either Windows or Mac, but this could just be me. Wikispaces hates me and this just happens with rar files sometimes. If our developer can access it properly when he gets to this thread, then it really doesn't matter.

In the meantime though, are there any other side-effects of having lingering Imaginary Friend data hanging around when there really aren't any such sims anymore or does your game play well otherwise?

The game seems to be functioning normally and I haven't noticed any other weird behaviour yet.
If there are any issues with that file I can re-upload if requested to.
