I have Some Script Errors Happening

Post by Shalunyturns » August 31st, 2014, 10:15 pm

Just going to report them here, maybe someone can help me figure out what happened? Umm, I tried to upload the files on the wiki at the Pages and Files section, it's not showing uploads after refresh, can some one help me figure out what I'm doing wrong?

Hi Shalunyturns .. You uploaded just fine only next time please put all files in ONE zip. See How To Upload. There is also information on the page explaining how you can see if your files were received.
The Error Trap messages indicating Destroyed Object Found is nothing to worry about. It's just ET cleaning up objects no longer in use. I'm not clear on the other error so don't want to give you false info. It might be a bit before someone will be available to read for you. In the meantime there is some information on these errors in ET Reading Logs if you want to take a look at that.

Aack, I went in to delete the duplicates and somehow deleted all of them (two of them had the same name?). Since I couldn't find the restore option right away, I re-uploaded the single copy I still had on my desktop so a developer could see it -- all three error files are in there. Sorry, noob organizer mistake here.

But in the meantime. could you confirm that you have matching versions of the Woohooer mod and its add-ons that are in testing? The logs don't show the letter suffix that a couple of them should have, so it's difficult to tell from this end. As you have icarus' toilet stall module, the three mod file version should now be

Woohooer 127b (base mod)
Woohooer KamaSimtra 127a
Woohooer ToiletStall 127a

Also, not sure about this, but the game seems to be having trouble verifying Ivin Bassett's social interaction level with another sim. You might try (at least temporarily) unlinking Woohooer from SP to see if that stops the error from happening, if you have that link in place.

NRaas > Woohooer > General > Link to StoryProgression (set to False if it's True)

But again, this is just a theory. :)

Sorry Guys, I knew that was just what I forgetting; I couldn't remember what the page was called to check when uploading files, thanks for reminding me. And yes I have the right mods you mentioned. When I get the chance to play, I will test; I also have the StoryProgressionV266a and the modules that go with it because I thought it would help with the university I have in my base neighborhood. FYI, even though I have Relativity, Overwatch, Register and Tagger, I am not using testing versions of them.

I suspect one of the Sims involved in a conversation got reset and caused the other to error out. Nothing to worry about :)
