Resort? Script Errors

Resort? Script Errors

Only when I put a resort-type lot in a custom world I'm creating, does ErrorTrap give me this script error non-stop. The resort lots have everything they need to function properly. This error only occurs in this one particular custom world when loading after saving and exiting the game.

Hi there,

Please in the future follow this guide How To Upload when you want your ScriptError report analyzed.

<u>On to your issue at hand:</u>
Some of your Resort Workers still wants to hangout on the resort after closing time. The goal of role sims is to be in world for their job, once that is done they should move away from their place of business. This wasn't happening to those Sims and ErrorTrap did a hardreset on those Sims.

The issue had been addressed with Register V78:
"Fixed issue where role Sims with venue's that close often ended up in a severely broken state without their locked motives or uniforms and end up in the world or their roles all night. They should now act properly and hibernate at night."

Your using V76, while V79 is out. Please update your mods and try again ;-)

Oh my, I am so very sorry. I must have misread those. (It's been a long day)

I have tried the updated Register mod to no avail. I can't even interact with the lot at all and the script errors still become non-stop; they just keep racking up in the notification corner by the millisecond.

I just double checked on all the mods to see if they were current or not and noticed that Story Progression with its Relationship and Population addons were out of date by a few versions. After having updated them, I no longer seem to have the issue, but I'm holding my breath. Could this have been the problem, Story Progression Population, to be exact? Or have I just gotten lucky?

Try resetting the lot, pause the game, go into mapoverview, click on the resort lot maptag> Nraas> Mastercontroller> Reset Lot. See if that bounces the game back into stable gameplay.

One other question, after you updated, did your cleared the Cache files in your Sims 3 userdirectory. Especially ScriptCache.package? If not, quit game and please do so, then restart the game.

Yes I had cleared the files before re-starting the game. And the error occurred yet again but I will try the lot reset. Might I add, thank you so much for your assistance. This issue has been driving me insane for the past few days.

I was not able to click on the resort lot maptag at all and am still receiving the same error.

Hmmm, try this approach. CityHall > Nraas> MasterController> Town > Reset Everything.

If that doesn't bounce every one back on their track, then we'll have to wait for our NRaas Guru Chain Reaction who can give some right direction.

Still not able to click anywhere on the resort lots nor maptag for the resort and still receiving the script errors :(
