So I recently installed Island Paradise, fine. But adding a port to a world, or using Isla Paradiso (IP's default world, with a whole bunch of ports) causes ALL the rabbit holes to crash and burn? :
Interactions cause the sim to approach the building, but when they are in front of the door, the routing fails and the sims whine.
I know that my error log only contains "Destroyed Object Found"s, but its the objects that were destroyed that concerns me. The culprit most probably has something to do with the ports, because as long as you don't add one, a world will work perfectly fine.
Destroyed RabbitHoleDoorJig ???
Source: Correction
"Destroyed Object Found"
The mod located an object that was deleted from the game in the previous game-session, prior to you saving.
The object was retained by an improper reference that forced the game to save the unnecessary object into your save-file.
The mod is informing you that steps were taken to remove the references, and allow the object to vanish into non-existence.
Just see it as the creator of the map Isla Paradiso, had a rough time adding Rabbitholes onto the world, while he/she was working on the map, she made several corrections on the Rabbitholes (deleting/placing).
While deleting such Rabbithole, it leave a trace within the worldfile, which the creator didn't clean up (overbloating). ErrorTrap find these minor things and wipe it from existence.
In short, nothing to worry about

Except I can not get a job (well i can get any profession except for lifeguard). Nor can I enter any rabbit hole...
Also, this also happened in Sunset Valley (a world I'd been using error free for a while), immediately after I had added a port. In addition, all the sims in Sunset Valley lost their jobs, could this be related?
Would you (or anyone else) be able to point me to some place where I might be able to find a solution? I'm afraid I've gotten rather attached to my sims in SV, and I'd hate to have to delete the whole world

After you TESTED it out on vanilla mode with CC, the result can be either:
1. Sims can use Rabbitholes; You have something in your mods folder that conflicts with the Rabbithole.jig which gets deleted, thus Errortrap reports the Destroyed Objects.
Check if all your mods are correct and up to date to your installed Patch level. Or redo the Framework and redownload Mods once again and make sure they are compatible with your patch level.
2. Sims are still not able to enter Rabbitholes; You might had a faulty patch update. Advise to you is to re-patch your game with the relevant <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Super+Patch">Super Patch</a>.
After that either insert your Mods folder back from your desktop or do as advised on 1.

I think this is the continuation of a thread at MTS where I wrote that something similar had happened to me in Moonlight Falls and wondered whether these issues are related, although adampalte's log lists only destroyed objects, while in my case the rabbitholes turned into out-of-world objects. My thread here is this: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=526655
I also had it recently in Isla Paradiso when I switched between a few different IP saves in order to fix my Scuba Dive problem.

Oh, hi babele44. You're right! It is a continuation (I really want my worlds to work, darn it!).
Turns out the "random magical cure" wasn't so magical. It failed again after a while, although this time I *didn't* panic, and instead followed your advise to come here
Well, I'll try the super patch. Can't hurt to try, right?
