That is fine for me. :) I know how challenging and time consuming. I am beyond thrilled you are working on this, Twallan. You always make such high quality mods that have saved our games.

I am not all that great at modding, but I will be more than happy to help in any way that I can, even if it is just acting as cheerleader. :P

I have a few ideas for when you do start working on it, Twallan. :)

The first thing is are you going to make the skill a hidden skill or a skill like you did with the Kama Simtra? If you're going to make it like the Kama Simtra, I have an idea on how sims can improve their shape shifting.

In Sims 2, sims had to be friends with the alpha male and get bitten that way to get the werewolf trait.

For the Sims 3 mod, maybe you can you use the NRASS controller and let a user click on a dog and assign it as the "alpha". This alpha script will be a trigger for the skill. Maybe Sims can get the first skill via being bit or just need to keep befriending the "alpha" dog and make the skill that way.

I am not sure what your thoughts are depending on this or if you already have an idea in mind.

Is there a "I was bit by a dog" animation in the game ?

If so, I could certainly use it as a means to start the process.

Yes, I believe dogs can bite. I don't have my game up, but I remember an aggressive dog gnarling and biting my Sim when I first played Pets.

I have been looking at the dog interactions, and I was wrong about dogs biting. The "Just Bitten" buff comes from the minor animals biting. However, it looks like dogs can get into fights. I am not sure if they can get into fights with other Sims though.

Still haven't figured a way to stop EA from mucking up the stored animal outfit.

One of these days maybe EA will add a mechanism I can use. :)
