can you porter pregnant sims?

Post by ElviraCardigan » October 6th, 2019, 2:07 pm

Simple question this time - hopefully. And right there in the title.

If one attempts to porter pregnant sims will anything dire happen to mother, child or game?
I want to move my test subjects to a new version of the world I'm making. But it looks like about half of them are expecting!

I've never used Porter, strange though that may seem. But unless someone else comes along to correct me, I think that should be fine. Though if we expect the other parent's genetics to be used when the babies are born and for the family trees to stay intact, they would have to be included in the Porter pack. You might want to test this on a very small sample set before packing up an entire town of preggos. :)

Ideally it should be fine but I can't say for certain. What I can say is yes, both parents need to be packed if you want both's genetics to be used at birth. Let us know how it goes. :)

I've portered several pregnant male sims together in one package. No problems. Dads unpacked with babies still intact. :)
