Would you believe that there are five NRaas answers to this question?
1. MasterController -- Make Active (on a sim or household).
2. StoryProgression -- Has a similar command.
3. Selector -- Right-click to switch households, can be allowed or disallowed in the mod's options.
4. PortraitPanel -- Allows the option of putting sims from inactive households into the portrait panel on the left side of the screen and clicking on those to switch households.
5. Mover -- Only relevant when splitting a household, but which one of the splits to then continue playing is choosable without needing a trip to Edit Town.
What is different about each of these is how they handle the Dreams and Opportunities of the household to become inactive each time. We can keep the Dream Managers going on sims we are not actively playing, but having "too many" (and how many is too many is difficult to define) DMs running at the same time can be a significant drain on game resources. MC has a command under Town Options to drop the DMs of all but the currently active household as needed.
MC is Dream Catching as per its option under Settings and that can be changed on the fly as desired.
SP is Dream Catching as dictated by Town/Household/Caste/Sim Options.
Selector and PP switches, if allowed, are always Dream Catching.
Mover is Dream Catching as per its options setting and this option extends itself to Edit Town switches.

Thank you igazor for the tip. I do have another quick question. What does the “Packer” mod do?

Packer is not really a mod although it's listed together with the others that are. It's a package file editing utility, a lighter weight one than the commonly seen S3PE.

Thank you Igazor! That explains it. So, its not a must have to have on your game, I reckon. So, I don’t really need it per day?

What I’m trying to say is that it’s not really important to have on my game, is it? I can do without this feature on the game cause I got everything on there except for ultrainstantkey & the packer

It's not for in-game use at all. It's for opening, examining, and editing package files off to the side; it certainly does not belong in Mods\Packages or anywhere else inside of the TS3 user game folder in Documents as it is really an executable program. If you have no need for a scaled down package file editor, then there wouldn't be any point in having it installed.
Just to confirm, we are still talking about Packer, right? Not Porter? It's easy to get the two confused as their names sound kind of similar.

Yes sir, it’s the “Packer” that i was asking about. It does get confusing at times but I am happy & grateful for your help. I am very new to mods & for the longest time, EA help would tell me to never use mods because it will mess up my game. But I never knew how much it actually helps my game & enhances it to a whole new better experience. I am getting use to it & I will not be downloading that packer file . I have no use for it & I am happy with everything else. Thank you so much for helping me again. I totally appreciate it
