Creating bookstores and transferring items.

I have downloaded Ani's Mod of Randomness and from my understanding, you should be able to run a bookstore (and possibly a bakery), by disabling the alarm for lot clean-up for venues you've selected. Has anyone had any luck with this? I'll play around with it some more, but last time I switched households the bookstore was cleaned. I know the mod isn't supported here, but if someone who uses could help it would be appreciated.

Another thing is that I want my sims to not my sims getting money from their old furniture (unless they have a yard sale). I have a sim who I want to handle these items, but does anyone have any idea how I can transfer the items to his inventory easily? I was thinking about using the savier seller rug and making the items free, but I would prefer a simpler method. Is there a DE or Master controller option that can do this?

I think The Mod of Randomness needs Awesome to function. I have used it ages ago. It makes your active family owner of the lot for 5 minutes or so while the cleanup runs, then they all roll wishes to own more lots and the items on the lot are save.
I never ran a bookstore and in the end my bakery was a mix of NRaas Cupcake, and Savvier Seller with part handmade part buyable items. When my Sims was active I disabled the auto stocking of cupcake and filled the Savvier Seller shelves myself. When I switched away I filled the shelves with Sandys many pastries:

Maybe that is an option.. of course that does not worki for a bookstore. My bookstore is just bookshelves and the book register I am afraid so I can't help with that.

DebugEnabler has a sent to FamilyInventory option and MasterController can transfer Sim Inventory Items with the Transfer From / Transfer To options.

I think she made this mod in order to replace some functions of Awesome, but I could be wrong. Well, it seems my general bookstore is working, but skill books seem to give me trouble. Maybe it's some property of skill books themselves. It probably doesn't help that I plan to have 3 different bookstores either. I've given up on doing a bakery in this fashion for now.

I also found the option to transfer family inventories in Ani's mod of randomness which is super convienient for me. Thanks for your response!
