Yup. I just found it and it is 60. So I will lock fps at 55 and test it next time I can.
Thanks!

Okay I got impatient. The line is gone when I take it down. However, I still notice some things when I have it at like 52 or so. It might be just me. I don't know. I put it down to 50 and maybe will make a vid to show what I am seeing. Could be anything not even fps related. I mean the smoothness is awesome but when I go from sim to sim, if they are far apart, and when the camera moves a decent distance I do notice something so I will try to get an example of it to show.

Is it a weird black line the seems to intersect the whole world?

I figure it is best to show than try to explain. After all what I am seeing might be perfectly normal.
Here is a link to an unlisted video. Let me know if it doesn't work. Since it is unlisted I don't think you can comment there so if anyone notices anything here would be good for conversation I guess unless the commenting there does work.
Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it you have to remember you're using a graphics card that is nearly 3 times more powerful than what was available at the time the game was still being supported your bound to see things that you normally wouldn't. What your seeing isn't screen tearing it just the graphics card rendering faster than the game can keep up with which is why you see the black lines lower your FPS cap may help but isn't necessary the game itself only runs internally at 30 FPS. I have mine capped at 45 FPS and I still get the black lines when I suddenly move the camera quickly or when I click on my sims portrait to move to them fast.hirikosaunders wrote: ↑May 10th, 2019, 10:18 pmI figure it is best to show than try to explain. I am glad it seems to be normal. I thought it might be but I don't have very many games to compare it to since most of the Sims I see are on youtube and that might not reflect the same as someone playing the game in front of you.
Thanks.
Thanks.
