Love you guys. Not for making the game playable (though that's a fact, too) but because you're helpful, easy going and seem to have avoided the "multiple a**h***s in every crowd" curse.

I've played sp for years without realizing there were extras like, well, Extra and Money. The option for rentable properties? Awesome! But in the new game with money added my sim cannot get any opportunities with other sims - only business type. For instance, no cooking ops to 'share cooking secrets (though this op doesn't involve payment)' or 'borrow ingredients'. Went to China and didn't enable SP, yet there are no options there for opportunities with private sims such as bringing nectar or collection ops. Haven't played an artist so don't know about delivering a painting or book or whatever.

Is this because of Money? Obviously Lucky Perkins wouldn't have 100k to pay for 3 death fish or even 1000 to borrow a tomato though the game normally allows for such things. Is it possible to configure for npcs to buy and rent properties while still enabling the sim-to-sim opportunities which are great relationship builders?

Are you certain that it's SP causing the opps to suddenly disappear on you and not ITF?

Thank you, igazor. I've never had ITF. And no I'm not certain its SP. Only that the issue didn't appear until money was installed. I'm about to start with a new game without the money mod and see if that fixes it or if it is potentially my cc sim. I just hoped it was a simple (which is a relative term!) configuration thing.
