Toddler Toss in Air
I just find it easier to always feed the toddler a bottle on the floor. I found my sims just couldn't coordinate feeding a toddler in the highchair, and they always nearly starved. Mind you, my own children when toddlers never had a bottle, just a sippy cup for drinks. and real meals.

(sighs) Maybe if we all plan to feed our sim toddlers just before they are starving to death instead of after their needs are critical, the rest of the household wouldn't so frantically try to "help" take care of them for you.
Okay, I'm exaggerating of course because I know the game's reactions to these things are equally exaggerated.

I recently played a household with two toddlers and a lot of (young) adults. Even if the toddlers had just eaten and their hunger bar was full, some sim or other would always start making food for them. Apparently it's their being in the high chair that triggers the behavior, not whether they are hungry or not.igazor wrote: ↑April 9th, 2019, 9:52 pm(sighs) Maybe if we all plan to feed our sim toddlers just before they are starving to death instead of after their needs are critical, the rest of the household wouldn't so frantically try to "help" take care of them for you.

igazor you are so funny. In RL - I have 3 kids, 10 grandkids and 2 great grandkids. I just don't remember tossing them in the air every 5 minutes. LOL!

Thanks all. I have had trouble with both the highchair and serving them food and taking them out of the crib when they are exhausted!littlelambsy wrote: ↑April 9th, 2019, 7:30 pmWhat really bugs me is when I get one sim to put the toddler in the high chair, then go to make some food for him/her and while my back is turned making food, another sim comes along and takes the toddler out of the chair and give it a bottle on the floor! My sim is left standing with prepared food and nobody to eat it. So I turned off "Take out of highchair" in Retuner.
I'll be checking out both of these settings in retuner and any others that annoy me!
I don't mind if they play with them and interact but sometimes it's crazy. I direct one to put the tired toddler in the crib and another sim comes along and puts them on the floor again or in the other crib! That's one that really annoys me. The first crib wasn't good enough?
Thank goodness my fairy toddlers are smart enough to use the fairy house and avoid this issue!
Is there a setting to make the toddler food re-usable instead of having to throw it away?
Always learn something new and helpful here! I just found the settings for 'show in compact form' for CAS--- and I love it---what a loading time saver! So many wonderful settings, now just need to learn them all.
