You download a clothing item, then look for it in your real closet... which is what I did yesterday LOL

Wow... I dreamed of sims. And yesterday I dozed off at my PC and found myself talking to them in a half-dreamy sort of way. Zee sasha mahee! I snapped out of it when my head fell forward and nearly bounced off my keyboard.

One day I had a dream that I was in Sims world, but I was some kind of god or, rather, just an observer. Sims-houses looked like dollhouses, and I could look in every one of them, but no one saw me. And not so long ago I had a nightmare: my beloved firefighter froze in place and, doing nothing, looked only at one point. In this dream I was a character, so I went up to him and tried to shake him, because otherwise he would have starved to death. But he didn't react to me

That does sound like a nightmare, a stuck sim and no reset options!

I had my first too much experience when I started playing the original game. Got it on a Friday, installed it in the evening and played until Sunday morning 3am with just a short break for grocery shopping. When I woke up I was sitting on my bed in zombie mode and saw the interface with my need bars in front of me. I couldn't figure out how to get the walls down so I could click at the shower to send me there. Took me about 20 minutes to realize that I had to just get up and go there. XD

I sometimes have to check lotto/lottery tickets at work. If there's a winning ticket (any amount), the machine says, "You're a winner! Woohoo!" It never fails to amuse me.

I tend to look at buildings in my local town and start wondering what lot size they're on. My other common thought is 'Where did they find those windows?'
I also spend a crazy amount of time reading notices and turning them into career opportunities for my Sims.

I sometimes look at people when I'm out and about and start thinking "I wonder where she got that hair?" or I'll see the way people act and start thinking of the traits they have. One freaky moment was when I saw a woman that looked just like one of the sims I'm playing! I was scared to ask her name. If it had been the same as my sim, I would have thought for sure I was in the Twilight Zone LOL

You've played too much sims when.... you are totally disoriented when it is time to cook dinner, because your sims just had breakfast.
