Never used that one, but the "Family Funds" doesn't work either. I don't get it, I'm not greedy, six digits seems fair!
Granted. Pay no attention to the little "-" sign to the left of the total currency amount, it's just there for decoration. :)

When you have six seemingly impossible things to get done during the course of the day and, when you complete the sixth one, you hear angels singing. No need to look up as you are certain there is a +LTR points score showing over your head and you enjoy a "Wish Fulfilled" positive moodlet for the next eight hours. :)

Am I bad that I still miss the fears and breakdowns of Sims 2?

When you don't want to go out to dinner because it's snowing and the kids had a snow day so you know the roads are bad. Then your husband points out that its over 70°F outside and birds are singing outside your window.

LOL I did something similar, in my game it was a wet, thundery day and cold. So I got up and put the fire on then realized it was mid summer and 80 degrees outside.

But littlelambsy, you live on the North Pole. It's not going to stay that warm for very long anyway no matter what time of year it is, and the nights are all six months long. (I know you don't live on the North Pole, I'm making fun of others' mistaken perceptions of Canada as a whole)

I've been having trouble lately keeping track of real time/days of the week while playing. I mean, the game clock is right there. But to see the real clock, even in windowed mode, I have to twist my head all the way to the right and look down (Windows) or up (Mac). Or take my eyes off the screen and look at my phone. Just seems like too much trouble. :P

Sometimes it feels like I live at the North Pole. But then I really love the cold and hate the heat. So my favorite time of year is Fall/Winter. Too many bugs chase me in hot weather LOL. However, it always seems colder when the sims have a snow storm or wet rainy weather.... which I should be use to coming from England! :)

I know what you mean about the clock. Sometimes I mistake the in game time to real time and will start doing all kinds of odd things because I think its time.... like make breakfast when its really dinner time.

My husband surprised me with a new computer a little over a year ago. I discovered that in the decade since I last needed it I had misplaced the codes to reinstall the game and I absolutely REFUSE to go through Origin and get stuck with 1.69. I can't afford to re-buy it on Steam, even with the sales, so I've been cold turkey since then.

And my folder of downloaded mods for the game has gotten up to 14.7 MB.

Ghostsdoj - Do you still have access to the older computer? You probably already know this, but the install codes should still be in its Windows Registry and retrievable, if it is accessible at all now.

I still have the old computer, since I wasn't letting him recycle it until I had everything from it I wanted, but it's not connecting to the monitor anymore. I think the cable is fried.
