When every house you look at and person you see becomes a project you need to try to recreate in Sims! I'll see people looking at me funny and I'll realize it's because I've been staring at them wondering what their traits would be and how they'd look with a different hairstyle!

When you can’t figure out why /motherlode isn’t adding money to your bank account.
I think part of the disconnect there is that financial institutions are required to be less gender specific now. Try parentlode or guardianlode. Hmm, those don't seem to have quite the same ring to them, do they...:|

LOL I'm not quite there yet, but I do look at houses I drive pass and sometimes I even notice that some of the trim, windows, roofs etc look just like some of the sims stuff. I also get ideas for builds this way.

I did notice while watching TV/Netflix that a few of the RL people are wearing exact replicas of some of the sims clothing. Or rather, the sims are wearing replica's of RL clothing.

I'm sure almost every player has at least tried to define their own traits, according to TS3 :D As for other real people and buildings, thanks, but no. I'd prefer the sims-world to remain unreal and relatively beautiful.

I must admit, I've done the same thing with houses I've seen in the neighbourhood. I'll look at the colour scheme and the way they're done, like brick on the lower and siding or stucco on the top. I get some really good ideas that way, as well as fencing around the property, landscaping etc. I tend to take those ideas from RL. It seems Sims are always on our mind. Heaven forbid we get Dementia and start to think our sim characters are real friends/family/and neighbours and wonder why they haven't come to visit or start talking to real people about the things "our friend" did. Instead of going into the sims world to escape this one, it would actually become this one and we can't separate the two worlds!... I think I'm almost there LOL

Me too! Hence having to make over sad looking houses and RL people into their beautiful Sim selves!

Never used that one, but the "Family Funds" doesn't work either. I don't get it, I'm not greedy, six digits seems fair!

Oh, it's a strange feeling when you come back for something in the old town, where your wards lived, and there is an impression that this town is your home, as if you lived there :)

Someone was very lucky with the neighboring surroundings.
