Sims standing around?

I'm pretty sure this isn't totally related to the Savvier Seller Mod, so I won't post it there. I'm having an issue with customers not paying because when one does they just stand in front of the register and block everyone else. They just stand in front of the register and do idle animations. Eventually they move, but it's after 30 or more sim minutes. Does any one else have this issue? Does a mod exist to stop or reduce the frequency of those animations? Could it be related to the placement of the register? Everything else seems to be working as expected, but this is the only issue. The store was pretty busy too it had 7 customers pending which didn't help.

Sims standing around?

I've had this happen in the past but now that you mention it, I must admit I haven't seen it in my games recently - no idea why and no idea what caused it to begin with either. I also noticed in one of Ani's videos that she also experienced exactly the same thing. Can't remember which one that was now though, sorry but just so you know, you're not alone.

My workaround is to wait until the customer has paid at the register, then use Master Controller's "Go Home" command on them. That makes them move out of the way lol! I've set that option up as a Hot Key in MC to make it faster to click on. :-)

Sarah_Sims: This is exactly what I have been doing for the time being. I'll stick to that. Other than that it's been working great...I can even get my sims to restock items on the highest grocery shelf.

Really? :-o How did you manage that? I haven't tried lately as the last time I did, it wouldn't work, so I haven't bothered since. :-)

It's the one from Aroundthesims3's grocery store set. I literally just plop them on there and I hire one of my sims as the clerk and they do it autonomously. I can also just manually direct them to do it. I don't know if this is only temporary but I've played 3 days with this family so far. What is weird is that sometimes I am unable to manually restock items, but once a sim does it autonomously it seems like it works again. I'll continue to play around with this family and see if this sticks true.
