unwanted houses

Post by littlelambsy » March 9th, 2019, 10:00 pm

I have a few suggestions to try until someone else comes along with a better suggestion.
First, I would Fix Homeworld: City Hall > Nraas > Debug Enabler > Options: City Hall > Sim > Fix Homeworld.
Second, if that doesn't work, try resetting the lots
Third, at this point I would Reset Everything. City Hall: Nraas > MC > Town > Reset Everything

Hope one of those works :)

Careers that require certain skill objects is one reason they won't stay. A painter needs an easel, gardener a garden, an inventor an inventing bench, an architect a drafting bench, a writer a computer etc...
While rabbithole careers and some active careers can get by without the skill objects self-employed can't they won't be able too earn a living without those things.
That was on my list of Inspection requirements earlier up on this thread although I didn't stress it in particular. It's adjustable, though.
NRaas > SP > General Options > Options: Lots > Options: Inspections > Home Inspection Career Objects > T/F

But if the household already residing there is failing inspection for this reason, I believe that it should be showing up on the MC list of those failing and the player would be informed why. Not so?
No MC from what I can see only checks for double beds, single beds (maybe), cribs, fridge, shower, toilet, and stove (maybe).
I even put a couple of sims in careers that needed skills objects their house doesn't have and MC didn't fail them.

littlelambsy, I tried your first option and it seems to have worked.

I got carried away, though, with some of the towns you mentioned in your email, and have started a new town, so I didn't play Hammond Island long enough to be sure.

thanks everyone for your help. it seems as though I have a pretty short attention span.

Glad my suggestions helped, and you're enjoying the new worlds I mentioned. Happy simming. :)
