Performance Meter

Post by littlelambsy » March 8th, 2019, 12:15 am

I have a sim that has a problem with the performance meter. Under the Career Tab, it shows all the needed skill for the career and they're all in the Outstanding green. Her mood is full (all green), yet the little meter under Career is red and 1/4 way down the bottom. Why? How can I improve that?

If you check on her actual job performance rather than the meter graphic, does it show as negative?

NRaas > MC > Sim > Intermediate > Job Performance or
NRaas > MC > Sim > Status > Career

Are you certain that she is actually going to work when scheduled and not goofing off or sleeping while there?

Is it possible that you have somehow switched off her career progression? This will stop active sims from progressing as well, even if they do go to work every day. I left a sim in the wrong caste by mistake once and couldn't figure out why his career performance never budged higher than +4 (out of 100) no matter what I did with him until I checked this setting.

NRaas > SP > Sim Options > Career: Allow Progression > T/F (a value in parentheses means it is being inherited from a higher class such as Caste, Household, or Town Options).

Her job performance shows -29.93. When she's at work (Missy_Hissy's Vet nursing apprenticeship) she doesn't slack off, she does one of the tones, like do paperwork etc. She never misses work and is looking all hunky dory so I don't understand the low performance. SP Career: Allow Progression is set to True and its in parentheses.

I've never played the apprenticeships, but if they work like any other part time job this seems strange. Perhaps MC Reset the sim, set her job performance to 0 and watch what happens to it after an hour or 90 minutes of work while in a great mood? Maybe a work-friendly LTR like Multitasking would help?

Nraas>SP>General>Options Careers>Options Job Performance>Alter Performance Decrease default is false try setting it to true
