Hello!
So something interesting just happened in my game. I was at the cemetery with my household, setting out their family members' gravestones and mourning over them. All of a sudden a meteor struck and killed one of my Sims. Very dramatic, I know! XD
However, the meteor also seemed to have hit one of the gravestones (his wife's to be exact) and caused it to disappear. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I thought it might have been hidden under the meteorite but it wasn't after checking. I checked the family inventory and personal inventories of practically all playable Sims in town and couldn't find it. Through MC and a computer > Type of Sim, I can view the Sim's personal status, but that's about it. I've also tried using the 'Burt the Dead' option, but no luck; 0 gravestones created.
So, is there anyway to retrieve the gravestone?
Thanks in advance!

There's probably a nifty way to fix this, but at the risk of over-simplifying things could you not revert to a prior save from before the meteor hit and play through from there?

Not sure if this will work, but try adding this sim to the family using the MasterController, and then using the same mod, kill her to get a grave, wich will in the mausoleum. And yes, forgive me for my reaction, but this is a very ironic turn of events.

The sim is already a family member and dead.Sara_Darkees wrote: ↑March 1st, 2019, 9:21 amNot sure if this will work, but try adding this sim to the family using the MasterController, and then using the same mod, kill her to get a grave, wich will in the mausoleum. It's not about blood ties. This sim needs to be added to the current house where the rest of the family lives. Perhaps, in game this ghostly sim still "live" despite the absence of grave.

The tombstone was physically deleted by the game making the ghost unrecoverable. Attempting to add a ghost who has a missing tombstone is a very bad idea it's like trying to add a mini-sim. The safest way to recover the tombstone is to revert to prior save from before the meteor hit it.Sara_Darkees wrote: ↑March 1st, 2019, 12:18 pmIt's not about blood ties. Hehe! No worries! Yes, those are the words I was looking for! XDSara_Darkees post_id=64026 time=1551450060 user_id=18005 wrote: And yes, forgive me for my reaction, but this is a very ironic turn of events.
Also, I haven't tried what some of you suggested, to add the Sim to my family, but I'm not sure that would have worked because I noticed she didn't even show up on the list of Sims at times when I was checking other options.
And like alot of you suggested, I already reverted to an older save. I was just hoping to play on from that moment because it was very amusing... :3 Thanks, everyone!

Once the gravestone is deleted the Sim is history I'm afraid. Glad you had a save to revert to.
