Really? On the bakery, even with the celebrity-only roped off cash register and all the ways inactive sims who were supposed to be the customers had to get inside and do their own baking? Alrighty then...sorry to sound so judgmental if you really like it as it came.

I still remember setting about "fixing" that lot. Okay let's cut this part out, we don't need the third or was it fourth floor, this part can go, let's rotate the main customer lobby around, etc. By the time I was done I think I had one floor tile and maybe a window left of the original. But hey, it was still EA's lot. :P

JohnL83, glad your keyboard wasn't ruined. I've got a keyboard from around 2003 that I'm quite attached to, so I relate to where you're coming from.

Also, if I haven't said it before, congrats on the new computer, and condolences on it being Windows 10. I use Ubuntu Linux most of the time, and whenever I do have to use Windows, it's frustrating.

I just looked through those suggestions from Claire that TN linked to, and I gotta say.... Holy overkill, Batman!
It can depend on your system specs namely the power of your CPU. With my older computer I couldn't play IP even though it was more than adequate to play all EP's and SP's. Now the computer I have now is a different story I can play the default IP world with close to no lag.
That's a fair point. While I have had some routing-related lag, I haven't experienced many of the worst performance problems many people have reported. Though I didn't actually think my 2015 i5 was all that powerful, especially since some folks with newer i7s have reported performance problems on TS3.

Really, some players are fans of the buildings from the official developers. But now I'm a little surprised, because from afar, this bakery seems very nice to me, in addition, it is in the leader of sales. However, most of the lots from the store are suitable only for base town, and in others they look like something alien. For example, I had to disassemble and build my own park with a carousel, in addition, I didn't use many objects from those set. As for Isla Paradiso, some players are quite entitled to be disappointed, because they expected not only new items and features, but also the town. Maybe someone dreamed about the beach, the tropics and all this resort atmosphere. But in the end they have to do all these dances with the tambourine to make it work properly. Of course, players can create their own town or use a tropical town from the store, but it can cost time or money.

I'm not sure what's wrong with posting the errors. I haven't been able to figure out why some have trouble with it and some don't. Maybe it's the format of specific logs that causes it or you're doing something I'm not. Are you dragging and dropping multiples at once or separately? Does it insert anything into the editor? Do you get a notification that it's doing anything when you drop them? I've just been reading between the lines of the jumbled mess that it makes until I iron it out if you just want to open up and manually paste

I am using drag and drop method (one at a time) and I am doing it just as I had prior to the new PC. I don't get any messages, but when I do drop the file I get the "code code" in brackets, but nothing shows up once I hit submit. I tried this several times and to no avail.

BTW: Silly me, but I had to delete my previous post to you because I actually typed the brackets around the two codes so I could show you what I see and ended up with my post in a window similar to that when we do post the script errors. LOL So that part still works, but for some reason I can't get the files to show.

Igazor, I do like the stuff that came with this EP, but I still think we shouldn't have to spend time fixing a game when the company who produced the game wont do it for whatever reason. They want the money from us, they need to give us a product that isn't so flawed. It's not like it can't be fixed, as we well know. So why not give us a complete and working game?
Certainly it's worth the $5 I spent, but I'd be straight up pissed off if I'd paid the normal $25 or whatever it originally cost.

JohnL83 - You're not alone in that regard, there were thousands of unhappy players who pre-ordered and paid full price for the EP who felt the same way. But this conversation is now a bit past its shelf-life date even for those catching up to not previously owned EPs. ;)

I don't like having to be in a position to defend EA. It's not one of my favorite things to do. You are a mean and evil person for making me do this.

Island Paradise was released in June 2013, it was the 10th of the 11 EPs. There wasn't much time in between that and the dissolution of the TS3 development team. Yes, the world should have been fixed but they apparently hadn't planned on keeping staff around who could actually do that and not make things worse in the process. That's not really a defense at all now that I look at it typed out, but more of an explanation. What happened or didn't happen between the end of 2013 and now doesn't matter because although it is still being sold the game is legacy and there has been no development on it by EA at all since then.

If the only available choices are to use a player-fixed up world (or do it yourself using their suggestions) or set the world aside and never play it, there is an argument to be made that the former is more likely to lead to fun and satisfaction with the end product even if it shouldn't really be necessary. I mean, after all, look at the site we are having this conversation on. Much (not all) of what the NRaas mods do theoretically shouldn't be necessary either. :)

Don't remind me :P .
But to play the devil's advocate with the Base Game and all EP's and SP's EA had 33.5gb of content to keep track and add the Store that's another 11.5gb for a total of 45gb not counting CAW and CAP. It's no small feat to keep track of all that considering most games at the time where only 1/4 to 1/3 that size.

Yeah, some of them have different formats. It has to know where to find the text in the log to insert it and that part is failing. I'll sort it out. It looks like they are uploading even though they aren't appearing in the editor. At least I assume your logs are the DESKTOP-56LBHHU ones? It looks like you have a lot of resort buffet tables scattered about the world that are broken for some reason. I'm not sure if that's being caused by a mod or EA. Find and remove them.
