I have all the store items and world store and Inhave all of them installed via the launcher, turning them into packages can break them and cause issues that never fully resolve. I install all other cc viapackages through CCMagic, but store content goes through the launcher, and I have Nona’s Ccmerged file replacing the one in the dccache folder or the dcmerged folder blanking which folder it goes in. If the launcher is being problematic there isn’t a way to load the store stuff after you launch the game, before you choose a saved game or town go Tom the ... button at the bottom left where options are and there’s is an option to download the store content you own. It does take a little bit but I have found it less problematic than the actual launcher, you do need to be logged in but I install it all then log off, exit and relaunch the game. 
The decrap fixes is for store stuff obtained through ”other” means, because the only way to install it if you do own it isn’t by “breaking” it basically and then fixes are needed. It not really any different than getting a cracked game, once I realized that I stayed far away from decrapped content, I bought EA game cards from GameStop, bought the sim points and downloaded the sale rotation chart and bought everything at its best sale, and watched the videos for free points. It took some time but I eventually got it all, loaded it in and have always used Nona’s ccmerged file, and have no problems with any of it. The mods that improve the items work fine with it all installed that way, Ani’s mod for the bistro stove, and Butterbots canning mod.
