BTW: I browsed that creators other mods and saw the one with more romantic interactions. Do you have that one? I was curious how well it works?  The creator said that sometimes the sim may not follow through with the interaction so I was wondering how often that occurs. If it's a regular thing I'd just rather not bother.
Icarus never made a romantic interactions mod that I am aware of. Can you link me to the one you found and are interested in?

Oh, I found it under "related uploads" so I thought it was the same person. I didn't read the creator that carefully. Shame on me!  Anyway, it's here: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=524468

igazor, I suppose that's "Passion And Romance" by Dramatic-Gamer.

I saw an animation of this mod. Honestly, I'm not impressed, it's very different quality from the game animation.

Agreed.

I've never had any of Dramatic-Gamer's mods in play. Some of them, not sure if this is one, do cause issues. If you really like one of his mods, I would suggest testing it out off to the side in a game that isn't intended to go on long-term, but with all of your current mods in play as well, to see how it behaves.

Or, of course, others reading this who have tried that mod may comment here.

MTS is a great marketplace for mods, great, good, bad (outdated), indifferent. But its "Related" searches aren't always going to pull up things that are relevant in much the same way that Amazon keeps wanting to interest me in feminine cosmetics and baby products (and I don't even really want to know why...)  :)

LOL IKR?  I swear those computer algorithms for Amazon, Netflix and the like, drive me nutty!  For movies I like a wide variety of genres, same with music, so I'm constantly giving them a run for the money! But it also is a huge drawback IMO that they rely so heavily on those systems because I have a hard time browsing variety because the stupid system thinks I only want to watch Horror films because I watched the original Alien, or I only want Barbie related stuff because I got my niece the Holiday Barbie for Christmas!  It's infuriating! I say, How about you stop suggesting stuff to me Amazon and Netflix and let me decide for myself what I want you jerks!

I also started a game for myself on Netflix to see how quickly I can page down before the effin automatic trailers start!  PFFFFT!:x

Anyway, thank you for the info. I will take it under advisement. :-)

TFM has a tuning mod that makes meals last longer http://simsasylum.com/tfm/index.php?/to ... 2-flavors/ . I use it with Buzzlers and they sit around the table and eat, have conversations, and usually finish about the same time. The fruit parfait problem could be because it isn’t a dessert not a meal. I also have seen the door reset to different ones and have just figured it was the game being buggy, I mean this is EA we are talking about.

It's been a while since I've served a group dessert, but am pretty sure other things (not in bowls) still qualify for icarus' mod. Will have to check on that.

The problem I have with mods and retuning that make all meals longer by way of forkfuls/spoonfuls is that sometimes my sims, whether they are eating together or alone, have limited time for a full meal before they have to be someplace and then the longer meal times work against them. I can't and don't really want to stop kids and teens from chatting with each other at the breakfast table, but they do have to finish up and get to school usually pretty quickly, other players don't serve full meals in the morning or might not care if sims eating alone take twice as long to do so. As usual, it's all about player choice.  :)

I think I have my realativity set a little slower than you do so they have a bit longer in mornings, and when I can play they grab leftovers or quick meals on school mornings. On weekends they usually have the “big” breakfasts. I think I have the 30 bite one myself, but that is what I love about mods and being able to customize it, everyone can do it their way. I have a super long lifespan also, beyond what can be done in game, I have the options.ini edited for me.

I have a question along this order of the sit down to meal mod. I just used it today and I do love it, but it's not showing the fact that I altered the amount of servings for a meal! I have the standard meal set at 12 since that's my sim per household limit, but it's only showing 8 again since I installed the mod. Is that supposed to happen?

The number of servings remaining was one of the final additions he made to the mod. I forget how this goes because I still use the standard 8 for a full platter, but is that you only get 8 servings now or is it just that the number displayed is no longer accurate if greater than 8?
