Recently I have been getting this spooky sounding music playing on my lots and I can't get it to stop. The stereo isn't on, nor the TV. There are no ghost on my lots, etc. Any idea where this is coming from? Thank you in advance.

If it sounds like this then, yeah, its a part of the Ghost hunter Career where a lot get infested with Spirits and will continue on playing till the spirits are gone.

Shame the sound isn't localized to where the opportunity is triggered and can be heard by the active wherever it goes. You have 2 options:
- install this mod by Shimrod <a class="wiki_link_ext" href="http://simsasylum.com/tfm/index.php?/to ... nter-jobs/" rel="nofollow">No music during FireFighter and Ghosthunter Jobs</a> hosted on the Naughty Sims Asylum (requires free membership to view).
- disable that Career in SP.
