My sims all got up Saturday morning, had breakfast and then I directed on to cook, one to clean house and the other to do laundry. The one started cleaning house, but the one doing laundry took a boat out into the middle of the ocean- miles away from land, picked up a bag of laundry, in her swimsuit, then took a boat back to the house. Like, what are you doing??? Then, the one cooking in the house, I also found her under the water by the one collecting laundry- she is in two places. How come I always get the weird problems with my game LOL.. Here's a screenshot.

There is a player on MTS who reports that his Butler keeps doing strange things like this, and often after picking up all the loads of laundry in the house. One time he found him hiding "inside" (?) of the refrigerator. I so helpfully pointed out that their Butler clearly wants to have some private time away from the game camera with their sim's dirty laundry but they kept managing to find them and spoil the moment.
The fridge glitch was probably a one-off in their case, but this does sound like broken routing in general to me. Whether it's the lot or the world at fault is unclear, but maybe a MC Rest Everything might help?
