I don't think it matters if what is to become the Student Union is on the Uni lot or on a different one. But it would be good if someone else could confirm this.

Zerbu's Mod also does not replace the rabbithole interactions on a school like taking an arts class.
Uni already is quite active, with those active classes and the lectures.
I tried to remove the rabbithole classes from the xml once and cramming more lectures in, but that let to confused Sims in the students union, for some reason only one major had lectures all the time.

If you don't like the EA system there are ways to making your own. I am doing that and I am using the Ultimate career Mod for this.

I don't know what you need to do with the students union in order to work with the EA system. Probably just build it, switch to the second layout and decorate for your event. With Zerbu's Event Mod you can even make your own events and start it whenever you want in case you can't get the EA one to trigger. I know the Commodity kind BeinStudentUnion does not work properly for me, but that might be because my Sims are not officially enrolled and not because the building is in a hometown.

You don't need the Meet & Greet event marker for a Student Union. I never use that for homeworld universities. All you need is to zone the lot to be a Student Union. I've read that the Meet & Greet also requires the university welcome booth, but I can't confirm that. The welcome booth is hidden; you need a mod (from MTS) to make it available in buydebug.

@bn4mtyg8d, about that lot you linked to - I didn't see a podium with tables set up to be a lecture hall on that lot. I don't know if zoning the whole thing as a Student Union would work. I built my own Student Union on a 10x15 lot with a podium on a platform (don't know if that's required), and tables and chairs set up similar to how EA's lecture room is. That works just fine.

For a homeworld university you'll also need a nerd shop (comic store) for the Technology major class activity, room at the library for the Business major class activity, and a lot zoned as 'university hangout' for the Communications major class activity. In the EA university world the university quad lot is the 'university hangout.' In my homeworld universities I use a modified park and zone it to 'university hangout.' The other class activities will occur either near the appropriate rabbit hole rug or near the designated front door of the university lot.

1. Tehcnology Major Class Activity - A Nerd Shop (Comic Store)
2. Business Major Class Activity - Room at the Library
3. Communications Major Class Activity - A Lot Zoned as "University Hangout"

Then can you tell me wether the one that I use that I have mentioned above, The University that I downloaded, "University For Your Home World by lewisb40 at Mod The Sims",
will do at least some parts of above 3 parts?

Another question.
I just noticed that when I click this sim's class schedule, it only shows one class location, the other 3 doesn't show class location, is it suppose to be happen?

The comic book store is a lot assignment. The university hangout is a lot assignment. So is Student Union. They can't be the same lot. I have used homeworld universities from mysimrealty.com. I use the 'no visitors allowed' lot assignment for those. Then I use other lots for the nerd shop, university hangout, and student union.

Maybe you could change the lot assignment of the lot you downloaded ("University For Your Home World by lewisb40 at Mod The Sims") to a nerd shop, or university hangout, or maybe Student Union. It might work, but I haven't done it that way. You'd still need the other lot assignments.

If you don't have a lot assigned to be a university hangout, then your communication majors won't have a class activity. If you don't have a Student Union no students will have a lecture assigned.

Since Business majors have their class activity at the Library and every world I've seen already has a library, so you are probably fine. I have never played Alpine County but I assume it has a library. I have seen some very small libraries in CC worlds though. My suggestion was just to check the library lot out and make sure there's enough room in the building for all the Business majors to set up and use their business planner objects.

Sorry, I don't fully understand your last question. Are you referring to the Monday, Wednesday, Friday rabbit hole classes? Or the Tuesday,Thursday lecture and class activity? How many MWF classes did your sim sign up for?

I went to University World of this World I'm playing now.

I saved the "University Quad (University Hangout)" to lot bin and "Keith's Komics (Nerd Shop)" to lot bin also.

So, I have no worries about those two lots.

And I'm going to try google for custom student union lot that someone else has made and place them in the world.

Make sure you have all university rabbit hole rugs in the world before the sim signs up for classes. That's all I can think of.
