@brappl; Ahh okay, there should be 7 (one for each degree, including custom Education Degree) that are split up with Traits-requirements (Caste: Required Traits), originally just 2 traits each degree (you can add other traits aswell). The Caste for enrollment are set under Castes "CAGDg - <major shorten-name> - <traits names>".

@igazor; I could write up a simple setup for you, if you wish. It's pretty neat having a Home World Uni, while dad is away working at his degree, you can play with the kids.

For the requirements, there are enough buffers you can use in the Caste Assignments, so you'll be sure that residents without enough funds don't try to waste its money (even going into the reds) to get a degree if he has none with "Caste: Minimum Net Worth", say about 50k (?).

The only thing I can see you trying to tweak frequently, is maybe when you decide to add "Caste: Trait Required", as said it can be done with just creating 2 Castes:
1 = for enrollment
2 = what they do after they gained their degree

Everything else is done either in the Town Options or already existing Castes, such as Disallowing the University Student Career (which basically is already set in the default caste settings).

@J4Ks - Oh, I was exaggerating over how much tweaking I expected to be doing. Thanks for the offer, but I'll muddle through when I get around to it and hit you up for some help when I do it all wrong. :)

@J4Ks .. yep, I did find them and the CAGDg and I still use that Excel spreadsheet. I'm going to go in later and play around with the Homeworld UNI and see where I can get with that. If I screw up too badly I keep a copy of the original Castes. Thank you again.

@J4ks... I would like to see a "tutorial" of how to set up castes for this. After reading a the stuff here I would like to try it. :) it all sounds so interesting.

See here: <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Automatic+E ... versity</a>

I'll be handling in the same document how to specifically assign them jobs as that are listed for those majors as linked on that page. And how to deal with professors when using SP, there are about 3 ways to choose from them.

@brappl; I've temporary linked it in <a href="http://nraas.wikispaces.com/University+ ... nd+Tips</a> under "How do I set up a Homeworld University?" If it feels out of place, you can find another place for it :-)
