Dresser

The focus of this mod is automated alteration of the outfits of all sims in town. The mod has the capability to add accessories, body hair, makeup, and new hair to all sims, increasing the variety of your town's population. Dresser also contains the ability to invalidate CAS parts which you do not want in your town, and will replace them with random choices when a sim rolls them on their outfit.

Notes

You will not be able to select outfits beyond the third choice in CAS. So to adjust the outfit, switch your sim into the outfit firstly, then enter CAS, and make your changes immediately.

    - Chain_Reaction Chain_Reaction:
    • Sims will no longer get new eye brows, eye color, freckles, teeth, scalp and so on when you use the Reroll outfits: Current only option.
    • Added "Check Outfits \ Check Outfits On Sim Reset", default false.
      • This will stop the mod from producing excess notifications by checking outfits every time a Sim is reset by Overwatch, and most often, ErrorTrap. Note that this option does nothing until new versions of any mod that resets a Sim are released. (Currently only compatible with V130 of MasterController)

Tuning Description Contributors
NRaas_Dresser_Tuning_V30.zip This file contains the defaults for the mod, and as such is only useful for those interested in setting global defaults. It is completely unnecessary to install this file, unless you intend to change the contents. User avatar twallan
NRaas_Dresser_InvalidParts.zip
  • Provides the ability to specify which CAS Parts you want to have replaced whenever the "Check Outfits" interaction is run in-game

  • Values for this file can be retrieved by using the "Log CAS Parts" interaction on a sim with the offending outfit.

NRaas_Dresser_ValidParts.zip
  • This has the same format as "InvalidParts" but acts in the exact opposite way. Enter all the parts you want to be valid, and all other parts will be replaced by those.

  • This file takes precedence over the "InvalidParts" tuning, they cannot be used together.

  • Note: If you fail to enter a valid part for each <BodyType>, you could end up with a bunch of naked sims running around town
